Last time I had the craving audacity to buy a dozen donuts I ended up having to eventually throw out about 9 or 10 of them, and discarding so much excess food to waste really kills my soul.Southern California grocery workers voted “overwhelmingly” to ratify a new three-year contract with Stater Bros., with voting scheduled this week on a tentative deal with other stores including Ralphs and Vons/Pavilions/Albertsons. Also, every time I see their Krispy Kreme shelf near the checkout I am usually disappointed to see the classic glazed donuts are only available in boxes of a dozen or more, which is unfortunately just too many for me to eat all of them within the still-fresh time window. Nearby homes similar to 19361 Brookhurst St 29 have recently sold between 26K to 240K at an average of 100 per square foot. They are the only grocery store I know around here that reliably has my main life essentials of Simply Peach juice, Welchs 40-pack of berry fruit snacks, Outshine mango frozen bars, and Stonefire garlic naan bread in stock on a regular, consistent basis, though for some mystifying reason I can never find frozen mozzarella sticks of any brand there. Of the nearby supermarket chains they probably carry the most brands and products I regularly consume, though there are some items I havent been able to find there.
They can get pretty busy and crowded between 3-6 pm virtually no checkout wait after 9:30 pm though.
